This is a website dedicated to music, with a strong focus on the blues.

I’m a singer and a writer, and I’ve made one of those crucial life-altering decisions to pursue both passions and combine them. Through this website, you can check out various music-related articles I write for Beatroute (a Calgary monthly music publication, in which I produce a two-page spread on blues) and The Cochrane Eagle (one of two local weekly newspapers in Cochrane, for whom I write an entertainment page for each week).

I am currently looking for contributers for this website – I can’t be everywhere, and I’d like to expand this site far beyond the blues to showcase various talent, from photographs to video clips of all that Calgary has to offer through our small, but mighty music community.

If you love the blues, or music in general, I encourage you to follow this site and make it a success. I like to think of the music community as an extended family with open arms. We need to support each other and expand on social networking so artists can survive and fans can continue to be entertained.
